Cookie Policy

How ASO Sensor uses cookies and similar technologies, what each one does, and the choices you have to control them.

Last updated · October 2026

Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how ASO Sensor (“ASO Sensor”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit asosensor.com or use our service. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site's operators. “Similar technologies” include local storage, session storage, and pixels, which can store or read information on your device in comparable ways.

Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by a domain other than the one you are visiting are called third-party cookies. Cookies may be session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them.

How We Use Cookies

We keep our use of cookies to a minimum. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell information collected through cookies. The marketing pages on asosensor.com set no cookies of their own; the cookies below are set only when you sign in to use the service.

Strictly necessary cookies

These keep you securely signed in and cannot be switched off, because the service cannot work without them. They are set only after you sign in, cannot be read by other websites, and are used only to authenticate your requests and keep your session active until you sign out or they expire.

Analytics and advertising cookies

We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we introduce analytics cookies, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before setting them.

Local storage

For minor interface preferences, such as remembering that you have dismissed a notice, we may use your browser's local storage rather than cookies. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Cookies We Don't Use

We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral profiling. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to sell data to third parties.

Managing Your Preferences

Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, we do not show a cookie banner. You can still control cookies directly in your browser, where you can:

  • Delete existing cookies stored on your device.
  • Block all or third-party cookies for specific sites.
  • Receive a warning before a cookie is stored.

Most browsers explain how to do this in their help section. See the settings for Chrome, Safari, or Firefox. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for how to interpret DNT, we do not currently respond to DNT signals. You can still control cookies using your browser settings as described above.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for legal and operational reasons. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the site or by email where appropriate.
